Northwestern University's speech therapy was the best (in my opinion) out of three university and 2 corporate programs that we attended. The therapists did more than give us worksheets. They gave us "homework", expected us to work daily on language, and followed up by doing the exercises with us . They gave us advice that helped the caregiver (me) see progressive aphasia in a new light - redefining "good enough", defining patience, respect, and caregiving.
