I create tools to help my husband with dementia, and look for stories that make me laugh. As a caregiver, I need support too. So this website was born - to remember the small moments as we progress together through this part of our lives.
My husband has primary progressive aphasia (PPA), a commonly misunderstood type of dementia. We have received a lot of support, tips and insights. We want to reach out to others in similar positions and let them (you?) know that they (you?) are not alone.
As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. We appreciate positive comments and helpful hints. At the same time, we understand that your situation may be drastically different than ours and we do not presume to be experts of your situation. You are the expert of your situation, and we are inspired by the tips and strategies you add to this blog.
Thank you so much for being part of this community. There are plenty of ways that you can become more involved. Feel free to add strategies that you have used to help your loved one with PPA / dementia cope with where they are right now. Together, we can create a positive place that provides tools to help caregivers support their loved ones with PPA and other types of dementia.
You are welcome to keep coming back here to see new content. However, a better option is to subscribe to my newsletter! You will get updates on new posts and special content that is only available to my subscribers.
